A webinar was held, jointly organized by the Bureau for Workers’ Activities (ACTRAV) of the International Labour Organization (ILO) and the Republican Union of Service and Industry Workers’ Trade Unions, a member organization of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation.
The event brought together representatives of the Republican Union. Speakers included ACTRAV officials from the ILO - Melanie Jeanroy, Victor Hugo Ricco, and Gocha Alexandria - who highlighted important topics concerning international labour standards, social dialogue, and the enhancement of collective bargaining mechanisms.
During the webinar, participants focused on ILO Conventions No. 87, 98, and 144, as well as Recommendation No. 91, with discussions highlighting labour relations in multinational enterprises and global supply chains.
The webinar concluded with an exchange of views, during which participants’ questions were addressed.
