On the occasion of the Novruz holiday, the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation (AHİK), together with its member organizations, organized festive events for children across many cities and districts of the country.
The children’s programs featured colorful and entertaining activities, a variety of games, and the distribution of holiday gifts, creating joyful and memorable experiences for all participants.
The celebrations also reached children living in the East Zangazur and Karabakh regions, including Fuzuli, Jabrayil, Zangilan, Lachin, Shusha, Aghdam, Kelbajar, Khankendi, and Khojaly.
Representatives of AHİK congratulated the children on Novruz, emphasizing that celebrating the holiday in their native land brings special joy and pride. During the events, it was highlighted that, under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, all necessary conditions have been established to ensure children’s healthy and comprehensive development.
Attention was also drawn to raising children as worthy citizens of their homeland. Special emphasis was placed on the importance of social and humanitarian projects implemented by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation under the leadership of First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva, aimed at improving the welfare of children. As part of the Novruz celebrations, children recited poems and shared in the joy of the holiday.
The events concluded with AHİK presenting festive gifts to the children, marking a joyful conclusion to the celebrations.
