The competition for the presentation of the “Uzeyir Hajibeyli Award,” established on the occasion of the 140th anniversary of the birth of the great composer and founder of Azerbaijani professional music, Uzeyir Hajibeyli, has been successfully concluded.
The competition, jointly approved by the Ministry of Culture and the Trade Union of Cultural Workers, was organized in two stages.
A total of 66 teacher candidates working at music and art schools and centers operating in Baku and various regions of the country participated in the competition.
Following the discussions at the meeting of the Commission held on December 19, 2025, 19 teachers were declared winners of the competition and will be awarded the “Uzeyir Hajibeyli Award,” including a cash prize and diplomas.
