A meeting was held at the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation (AHİK) with a representative of Türkiye’s Public Service Strategic Research Center.
The meeting highlighted that the friendship and brotherly relations between Azerbaijan and Türkiye, built on a solid foundation, continue to develop dynamically and span all areas of mutually beneficial cooperation. The participants emphasized that the joint efforts and strong political will of the heads of state have played a key role in bringing these relations to their current level.
Deputy Chairman of AHİK Musa Mirzayev provided an overview of the ongoing reforms, newly introduced initiatives, and implemented projects in the fields of labor rights protection, as well as the organization of healthcare and recreation for trade union members. He also highlighted the measures taken to enhance the education and professional skills of union members.
The importance of establishing cooperation with the Public Service Strategic Research Center and implementing joint projects was underscored.
Fatih Seyran, Chief Coordinator of the Public Service Strategic Research Center of Türkiye, spoke about the activities of the institution he represents and expressed interest in strengthening cooperation with Azerbaijan’s trade unions.
The meeting also featured an exchange of views on matters of mutual interest and included discussions on prospective areas for further cooperation.
