The European Universities Futsal Championship is ongoing in Zagreb, Croatia, among university students.
Representing our country in the championship, the team from the Azerbaijan Sports Academy defeated a strong Spanish team 5-1 in the semifinal stage and advanced to the final.
Earlier, our representatives had also beaten Swiss students 5-1 and Croatian students 6-2.
It should be noted that the participation of our team in the European championship is also supported by the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation’s member organization, the Trade Union of Science and Education Workers, as well as its subordinate organization, the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Sports Organizations Association.
