A capacity-building training program for entrepreneurs was jointly organized by the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation, the Small and Medium Business Development Agency, and the Labour Centre of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation.
Trade union members representing small and medium-sized businesses participated in the training, which focused on the topic 'Developing Skills for Ensuring Occupational Safety and Health in Small and Medium-Sized Businesses.
During the training, participants were introduced to occupational safety and health legislation, methods for assessing occupational risks, issues related to providing workers with personal protective equipment, and practical knowledge on preventing potential incidents and emergencies at work.
Furthermore, the program featured interactive discussions, and participants’ questions were thoroughly addressed.
