Representatives of the Customs Workers’ Trade Union, a member organization of the Confederation of Trade Unions of Azerbaijan (AHİK), held a meeting with employees of the General Customs Department for Excise Goods under the State Customs Committee.
The event began with the performance of the State Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan, followed by a minute of silence in honor of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and the martyrs who gave their lives for the homeland.
During the meeting, the trade union representatives provided detailed information on measures implemented in 2025 to protect labor rights, ensure decent working conditions, promote health and well-being, organize recreation for union members, and expand social support programs.
In addition, participants were informed about the recent projects implemented by the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation, as well as newly introduced initiatives.
Within the framework of the event, a video presentation highlighting the activities of the Confederation was screened.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the speakers addressed participants' questions and listened to their opinions and suggestions.
