The European University Futsal Championship among students is held in Zagreb, Croatia.
Our country is represented in the championship by the team of the Azerbaijan Sports Academy, the winner of the 2024/2025 season of the Azerbaijan Student League. Our team defeated the Swiss students 5:1 and the Croatians 6:2, winning both matches.
It should be noted that the participation of our team in the European Championship is also supported by the Trade Union of Science and Education Workers, the member organization of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation (AHIK), and its subordinate organization, the Public Union of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Sports Organizations Association (AHIITA).
