An international scientific-practical conference on “Modern Perspectives of Sanatorium-Resort Treatment and Health Tourism” was held in Tashkent, organized by the Federation of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan.
The event brought together trade union representatives from several countries, including a delegation from the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation (AHIK).
During the conference, participants were introduced to advanced practices in sanatorium-resort treatment, and key directions for the development of health tourism were discussed.
Chingiz Hajiyev, Director of AHIK’s affiliated organization - “Kurort” Closed Joint-Stock Company, delivered a presentation on “Prospects for Modernizing Sanatorium-Resort Services.” He provided detailed information on the initiatives and innovatives implemented in Azerbaijan to protect the health of trade union members, organize their treatment and leisure time, and shared the country experience.
Conference participants also had the opportunity to explore the facilities provided at the sanatoriums of the Federation of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan.
