A meeting was held with the delegation of the Turkish Metal Trade Union at the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation (AHİK).
It was emphasized at the meeting that the fraternal relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey, built on solid foundations, are currently at the highest stage of development. It was noted that the high-level friendly and fraternal relations of our countries, as well as in other areas, create broad opportunities for the development of relations between trade unions.
The event provided information on the work done by the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation in the field of protecting labor rights, creating decent working conditions, protecting the health of members, and effectively organizing treatment and recreation, reforms carried out, innovations and projects implemented.
Deputy Secretary General of the Turkish Metal Trade Union Turajon Raupov spoke about the formation, structure, and directions of activity of the organization he represents, provided information on the mutual relations of organizations, the work done in connection with collective agreements, the mechanism for using financial resources, as well as the steps taken to protect labor rights, and highlighted the relevance of exchange of experience. The guest also shared his views on the directions of expanding relations with the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation.
Finally, representatives of the Turkish Metal Trade Union got acquainted with the activities of the AHİK's "Kurort" Tourism Information Center, as well as the Labor Protection and Legal Assistance Center.
