Trainings on occupational safety for representatives of Uzbek trade unions have been completed at the Academy of Labor and Social Relations of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation (AHIK).
During the three-day training, experts provided Uzbekistan representatives with detailed information about labor rights, labor protection, and international conventions in these areas, modern approaches, and best practices.
Interactive discussions were held during the event, and participants' questions were answered.
At the end of the training, certificates were presented to representatives of Uzbekistan trade unions.
Then, the Uzbekistan representatives visited the AHIK's "Absheron" and "Shykh" sanatoriums and got acquainted with the conditions created for treatment and recreation, therapy methods and advanced medical equipment there. It was noted that the Confederation is implementing systematic and consistent measures to protect the health of trade union members and effectively organize their recreation, and modern and comfortable conditions are created in sanatoriums and recreation centers. The opportunities and treatment services available in both sanatoriums were met with interest by the Uzbek representatives.
It should be noted that representatives of Uzbekistan trade unions have emphasized that the trainings, experience and exchange of ideas held at the Academy of Labor and Social Relations would be useful for their future activities and expressed their gratitude.
