On December 12, the leadership and staff of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation, as well as employees of its member and subordinate organizations, visited the grave of the founder of modern Azerbaijan, the national leader Heydar Aliyev, at the Alley of Honor.
They laid a wreath and placed flowers at his grave.
The memory of the prominent ophthalmologist and scholar, academician Zarifa Aliyeva, was also honored, and bouquets of flowers were laid at her grave.
