All favorable conditions have been created for the effective activities of employees at the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Sports Organizations Association (AHIITA), a subordinate organization of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confedration (AHİK)
There are working rooms that meet modern standards, spacious conference rooms and training rooms. For comfortable and functional work of employees, all rooms are equipped with the necessary technical equipment, an Internet and IP-telephony system is installed.
It should be noted that AHIITA implements projects aimed at promoting a healthy lifestyle among trade union members, effective organization of leisure time, increasing the mass participation in physical education and sports, and organizes competitions, Spartakiads and Universiades in various sports.
Currently, AHIITA has chess and intelligence games, wrestling, martial arts and physical training sections. Its graduates in judo, sambo, karate-do, taekwondo, freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling, chess, mountaineering, boxing and rhythmic gymnastics successfully perform in prestigious sports competitions.
During the past period of 2025, the Association's athletes won a total of 213 medals in local and international competitions. Athletes participating in international tournaments successfully represented our country by winning 28 gold, 13 silver and 6 bronze medals. They showed high results in republican competitions by winning 51 gold, 49 silver and 66 bronze medals.
