The Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation (AHIK) held a meeting with Kamal Özkan, the representative of the IndustriALL Global Trade Union Confederation.
The meeting provided information on the international relations of AHIK, cooperation with its member organizations, and international events organized at the level of trade unions in our country.
The event also highlighted the work done in the field of protecting labor rights, creating decent working conditions, protecting the health of members, and effectively organizing treatment and recreation, reforms carried out in the trade union system, and innovations implemented, and a video clip was shown about the activities of the Confederation and the projects it has implemented.
Kamal Özkan, a representative of the IndustriALL Global Trade Union Confederation, spoke about the activities of the organization he represents and about relations with the Republican Committee of the Azerbaijan Oil and Gas Industry Workers Trade Union, a member organization of AHIK.
The meeting exchanged views on the prospects for expanding cooperation and other issues of mutual interest.
Finally, Kamal Özkan, a representative of the IndustriALL Global Trade Union Confederation, was introduced to the activities of the AHİK's "Kurort" Tourism Information Center, as well as the Labor Protection and Legal Assistance Center.
