The Azerbaijan Academy of Labor and Social Relations has kicked-off the trainings for representatives of  the Uzbekistan trade unions

Trainings for representatives of trade unions of Uzbekistan have launched at the Academy of Labor and Social Relations (AASMA) of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation (AHİK).

Speaking at the opening of the training program, AHİK Deputy Chairman Musa Mirzoev welcomed the delegation of Uzbekistan, spoke about Azerbaijani-Uzbek friendly and fraternal relations, and collaboration to developing at the trade union level, stressed that organized trainings are an indicator of the dynamic development of cooperation between the trade unions of the two countries.

Then a video was shown about the work done, projects implemented and innovations implemented.

Acting rector of AASMA Yusif Agayev informed about the activities of the Academy, the educational process, noted that the training would be useful for Uzbek colleagues. It was noted that the Academy of Labor and Sosial Relations is accredited by the UK's Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH). This allows the Academy to conduct training on occupational safety and health in the workplace and evaluate the results.

On the first day of the training, which will last three days that is conducted at the Center for Specialization and Personnel Development of the AASMA, the Head of the Department for the Protection of Labor and Socio-Economic Rights of the AHIK Tural Suleimanov made a report "Labor rights and Social Justice. - Exchange of Local and İnternational experience and Approaches”, Head of the Department of Labor Protection and Health of AHIK Adil Rahimli outlined " The Rules for Retraining and Advanced Training of Technical Labor İnspectors in the field of Labor Protection”, Professor of Baku State University Mayis Aliyev highlighted the need to ensure safe working conditions and labor protection training for representatives of trade unions of Uzbekistan.

During the trainings, interactive discussions were held with the participants, answers to their questions were given.
