Celebrating Oil Workers’ Day On 20 September, Azerbaijan proudly observed Oil Workers’ Day, while also commemorating the 31st anniversary of the historic “Contract of the Century.”
The Republican Committee of the Oil and Gas Industry Workers’ Trade Union, a member of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation, together with its local committees, played a key role in organizing the events.
During the ceremonies, industry employees were honored with awards in recognition of their dedication, professionalism, and significant contributions to the growth and development of Azerbaijan’s oil and gas sector. Their achievements highlighted the vital role that oil workers continue to play in the country’s economic progress.
