An online meeting took place between the Confederation of Trade Unions of Azerbaijan and the Confederation of Trade Unions of Georgia.
The participants discussed a wide range of topics, including the regulation of labor relations, protection of workers’ rights, promotion of social dialogue, and the strengthening of cooperation with member organizations.
The meeting also provided an opportunity to exchange views on trade union governance models, mechanisms for delivering social and legal support to union members, and strategies to increase youth and women's engagement in trade union activities.
In addition, both sides addressed issues of mutual interest and emphasized the value of ongoing collaboration.
Concluding the meeting, the participants underscored the importance of holding such exchanges on a regular basis, expanding their scope in the future, and implementing joint initiatives.
