A meeting with AHIK volunteers was held at the Academy of Labour and Social Relations of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation (AHIK) in celebration of International Volunteer Day.
The Acting Rector of the Academy, Farid Babayev, congratulated the volunteers and highlighted the country’s youth policy as well as the ongoing development of volunteer initiatives. He noted that volunteer activities in Azerbaijan have gained broad public recognition, with young people actively participating in such initiatives. It was emphasized that the participants of the “AHIK Volunteers” programme, implemented by the Confederation, play an important role in the organization of events and the implementation of projects.
During the meeting, the volunteers delivered speeches, noting that the knowledge and experience gained through the programme help develop their social skills, enhance their professional competencies, and positively influence their future career paths.
Certificates of Appreciation were presented to the AHIK volunteers at the conclusion of the meeting.
