The Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation, in partnership with the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Administration of the Regional Medical Divisions, and private sector partners, has carried out the next phase of its social initiative “From Colleague to Colleague with Care” at the “Shikh” Treatment and Recreation Center.
During the event, more than 120 citizens received treatment at the center and underwent complimentary medical examinations conducted by ophthalmologists and cardiologists from private healthcare institutions. Individuals whose health problems were identified, received professional medical consultations and were prescribed appropriate treatments.
The purpose of the project is to further improve access to healthcare services and to contribute to the implementation of the country’s social policy.
It should be noted that, within the framework of the “From Colleague to Colleague with Care” project, more than 1,600 citizens have already benefited from free medical examinations, and the project will continue in the future.
