The next phase of the social initiative “From Colleague to Colleague with Care,” organized by the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation (AHIK) in cooperation with the Ministry of Health, the Administration of the Regional Medical Divisions (TABIB), and private sector partners, took place in Gadabay.
The free medical screening took place at the Gadabay District Central Hospital, where professional physicians provided services in the fields of cardiology, endocrinology, urology, ophthalmology, traumatology-orthopedics, and neurology.
Over the course of two days, a total of 640 residents of the district underwent medical examinations. Individuals diagnosed with health issues received medical advice and appropriate treatment recommendations.
AHIK volunteers also took an active part in organizing the event.
It should be noted that the main goal of the social initiative “From Colleague to Colleague with Care” is to protect the health of trade union members, enhance access to medical services, and contribute to the implementation of the state’s social policy. To date, nearly 2,250 citizens have benefited from free medical examinations within the framework of the project. Social initiative “From Colleague to Colleague with Care” will continue in other cities and districts across the country.
