A group of students from the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation’s Academy of Labour and Social Relations (AALSR) has successfully completed the training programme delivered at “Holberton School Azerbaijan.”
На occasion of this event, a “Graduation Day” ceremony was held with the participation of the Academy’s leadership, staff, and representatives from Holberton School Azerbaijan.
Speaking at the event, Acting Rector of Academy, Farid Babayev, emphasized that the cooperation between the Academy and “Holberton School Azerbaijan” provides significant support in enhancing students’ digital competencies. He congratulated the graduates on successfully completing the program and noted that expanding this partnership and launching new joint training initiatives are key objectives for the Academy’s future.
Florian Bucher, the Founder of Holberton School, noted in his remarks that the training helps young professionals adapt more effectively to the evolving demands of the labor market amid digital transformation. Shamsi Bayramzade, the Executive Director of Holberton School Azerbaijan, emphasized the high level of professionalism achieved by the graduates in ICT and programming.
During the event, a video highlighting the students' work throughout the training period was shown, followed by the presentation of their final project — the AALSR meeting room reservation system.
At the end of the ceremony,the students who successfully completed the training programme were awarded certificates.
It should be noted that on 23 June 2025, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between AALSR and “Holberton School Azerbaijan.” The document outlines collaboration in training specialists in programming and artificial intelligence, the joint implementation of innovative projects, mutual exchange of experience and resources, as well as the provision of free educational programmes for AALSR students.
