An event was held at the Academy of Labor and Social Relations (AESMA) of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation (AHIK) on September 15 - Knowledge Day.
The event commenced with the playing of the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Yusif Aghayev, acting rector of the Academy, congratulated the faculty and students on the beginning of the new academic year and wished them success in their teaching and scientific activities.
Nigar Vahabzadeh, Advisor to the Chairman of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation emphasized the attention and care shown by the Confederation to the field of science and education, as well as work with youth. She has noted that the modern educational environment created at the Academy and the opportunities for students would make a significant contribution to their future professional development.
Araz Pashayev, Chairman of the Republican Committee of the Trade Union of Science and Education Workers spoke about the projects implemented within the framework of the existing cooperation between the Republican Committee and the Academy.
Araz Pashayev highlighted with satisfaction about the work of several of the Academy graduates at the Republican Committee, and mentioned that this cooperation will expand further in the future.
At the event parents and students expressed their hopes and wishes for the Academy, as well as the new academic year.
