On July 15, participants of the “Volunteers Program” of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation (AHIK) visited the Milli Majlis.
In the “Memorial Hall named after Heydar Aliyev” located in the administrative building of the Milli Majlis, volunteers were given detailed information about the rich life path and multifaceted political activity of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev. The exhibits and photographs displayed in the hall made a deep impression on the young people. Also, the volunteers were inspired a sense of pride by familiarization with the “Victory Corner” dedicated to the Victory won under the leadership of the Victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief Mr. Ilham Aliyev in the 44-day Patriotic War.
Then, the volunteers met with Shahin Ismayilov, Chairman of the Youth and Sports Committee of the Milli Majlis, and Members of Parliament - Mushfig Jafarov and Mirjalil Gasimli. The MPs provided detailed information about the activities of the parliament and lawmaking. They advised the young people to be active and take an active part in the socio-political life of the country.
During the meeting, the volunteers emphasized the vast opportunities created for the development of youth in the country and said that the attention and care shown by the state inspired them to be even more initiative.
