The Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation (AHIK) has brought together the leaders of its member organizations for a regular session aimed at reviewing ongoing initiatives and shaping the Confederation’s future direction.
In his address, Mr. Araz Pashayev, Chairman of the Republican Committee of the Trade Union of Science and Education Workers — one of AHIK’s key member organizations — presented a detailed report on the first seven months of the year. He outlined the significant steps taken to protect the labor rights of education sector employees, enhance occupational health and safety, ensure fair and decent working conditions, and improve access to medical care and recreation facilities.
The meeting also provided a dynamic platform for exchanging ideas and aligning on strategic priorities for the months ahead. Leaders reaffirmed their commitment to advancing workers’ rights, strengthening social protections, and fostering closer cooperation across all sectors represented within AHIK.
