From 16 to 19 February, another winter camp for the children of martyrs was organized in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
The project was implemented through a partnership between the Authorized Representation of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation (AHIK), with the support of Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) and AHIK’s member organization, the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Trade Unions Council, and was organized by the YASHAT Foundation.
The aim of the camp was to encourage children’s interest in winter sports and to create opportunities for building new friendships.
On the first day of the project, participants visited the” Duzdag" Recreation Complex and watched a video presentation highlighting the activities of AHIK.
In the following days, the children took part in skiing lessons, sledding, and other recreational activities at the Aghbulag Recreation Center.
Within the framework of the camp, the Head of the YASHAT Foundation, Karabakh war veteran Elvin Huseynov, and the Vice-President of AHIK and Chairman of the Nakhchivan Trade Unions Council, Gazanfar Abdullayev, held a friendly discussion with the children over tea.
