Azerbaijan Tourism Enterprises Workers’ Trade Union was established on June 21, 2025, and was officially registered by the Ministry of Justice on June 30, 2025. The organization unites over 4,000 trade union members working and studying across 25 institutions, including central executive authorities in the field of tourism and the tourism industry, hotels, educational institutions, and public legal entities.
The sureme governing body of the Trade Union is the Congress, convened once every seven years. During Inter- congress period, the trade union’s work is guided by the Majlis, which meets at least once a year. As well as during inter-Majlis meetings period, the authorized body is the Presidium, composed of the Chair of the Union, the Deputy Chair, and the chairs elected from the primary trade union organizations.
The Trade Union conducts its activities in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan on Trade Unions, the Labor Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan, other legislative acts, as well as the Collective Agreement concluded with the State Tourism Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2025–2027.
